Don Fugate served as Associate Pastor of Foxworthy Baptist Church since 1983. On September 23, 2007 Foxworthy extended the call as Pastor.

Don grew up in Hayward and aside from college in Riverside and Seminary in Mill Valley, has spent his life in the Bay Area. Growing up in Christian home, Don gave his life to Christ at an early age. He answered the call to ministry as a sixteen-year-old.

While completing a BA at California Baptist College, he met and married Diann de Graaf. Following college and an interim ministry at Calvary Baptist Church, Modesto, Don and Diann headed for Golden Gate Seminary in Mill Valley. Don was called to Western Hills Baptist Church of San Mateo in 1976. For the next 7 years, Don, Diann and their sons, Donny and David enjoyed the ministry at WHBC.

In his 25th year of ministry at Foxworthy Baptist, Pastor Don has led the church in major outreach events to the community, planned and led worship, taken the Youth Choir on summer tours throughout the Northwest & Southwest, worked with the Sunday School ministry and taught special studies. In June of 2004, Pastor Don received his Doctorate in Worship Studies from the Institute of Worship Studies, Orangepark, Florida.

Pastor Don is an accomplished singer/songwriter with works published by Genevox, Crescendo and GlorySound. He has taught courses in Advanced Multimedia at Valley Christian Schools and Electronic Media in the church at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.

During his free time, Pastor Don enjoys video editing, visiting friends and family and reading. His favorite authors include Calvin Miller, Tom Clancy, John Grisham, and John MacDonald. His favorite scripture is Isaiah 40:31.
