After 25 years of service to the Foxworthy Baptist Church Media Library, in February 2007, directors

BR and Jerry Bliss

moved to Grass Valley. Under their leadership and dedication to the library, the inventory has grown into a large, invaluable resource center containing almost 6900 books, magazines, videos and tapes. They have served faithfully and trained many workers to carry on the legacy Martha Washington Allen instilled in both of them so many years before. BR and Jerry are loved by the Foxworthy Family and will be missed.

Upon their leaving, the church family named the Children's section of the library in their honor. Foxworthy owes a great deal of gratitude to BR and Jerry for their love for the children of Foxworthy and the growth of the children's section. Foxworthy dedicates the children's section to BR and Jerry and will never forget their impact on the family at Foxworthy and the FBC Media Library.

The mission of the Martha Washington Allen Media Library is to provide resources and services to the members and leaders of Foxworthy Baptist Church which enhance the quality of worship, learning, witnessing, ministry and life-style; and to share those resources with those in our community.
